These butterfly wooden clock kits provide a wonderful arts and crafts project for teens and younger children (with supervision).

Everyone will enjoy painting the clocks and will be proud of his or her finished product.

Each kit includes six attractive, durable clocks.

The dimensions of each clock are approximately 6 inches wide (base) x 6 inches high x 3/4 inch deep. The clock face is about 2-1/2 inches in diameter.

Each wooden butterfly clock comes already assembled. All you do is paint it, using whatever patterns and colors you want.

One AAA battery (not included) is required for each clock. You also will need to provide the paint.

You won't be able to remove the clock from the wood portion. Therefore, take care when painting the area around the actual clock face. But if you do get paint on the metal rim, just wipe it off before it dries.

I recommend using acrylic craft paint, which cleans up with water.

If you don't need all six clocks, you can give some of them away. They would make great gifts or party favors.

Here is another idea. Bring the butterfly wooden clock kit and supplies (paints, brushes, one AAA battery per clock) to a family get-together such as a reunion or beach trip. The product information includes this WARNING: "CHOKING HAZARD - Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs." My best guess is that the referenced "small parts" are knobs on the back of the clock.

Note: Although I have purchased products from S&S Worldwide and have been very pleased with the products and service, I have not done this particular project myself yet.
