This dragonfly craft is a huge hit!

I just wanted to let you know that I love your dragonfly ornament! I made one and it has been a huge hit. Mine ended up looking more like a butterfly and it also has all sorts of flaws, but it is still stunning. My family couldn't believe I made it!

I gave the ornament to my sister. She is joining the Peace Corps and moving to Africa in a couple months, so I have been making some small gifts for her before she leaves . . . things she can either take with her or easily store when she goes without taking up too much space. She absolutely loved the dragonfly!

I forwarded a picture of the dragonfly ornament to one of my other sisters and she loved it too. My neighbor also loved it and said I should open an Etsy store for my crafts . . . but I usually just make one or two of something and then move on to something else. I do plan to make some more of those dragonflies, though, as gifts! That dragonfly was a HUGE hit with everyone who saw it.

I think I probably should have used another bead or two for the abdomen, and flattened the wings to make them more elongated. Now I know for next time!!

I am including a photo of the dragonfly I made. The little ones were some I tried before finding your site.
