In all these videos, the artists have already inked their scratchboard paper, so you will not see that process here.

Scratchboard comes in white, to which you apply India ink. Here are some tips on how to ink your scratchboard surface. You also can buy black scratchboard that already is inked.

The first two videos below are Parts 1 and 2 of MrSmithART's videos from YouTube. They explain a bit about what scratchboard art is and also provide a detailed demonstration of the process -- and many helpful tips too. Each of these two videos is 9 minutes 58 seconds in length.
